The Windmill Project

In Kjos, Iceland I began with the intent to reveal the behaviors of wind during the long winter evenings, introducing a mechanism to translate the gusts and breezes into a body of light. Since those first installations in 2000, I have continued bringing the Windmill Project to different locations, rendering different qualities and experiences for those that visit it. Starting in 2020, The Windmill project was exhibited at the University of Colorado In Colorado Springs with the Galleries of Contemporary Art in their Art Without Limits program. It was left in place for 2 years, marking it’s longest exhibit in one location. More information about this installation can be found at GOCA. Windmill Project
