Exhibited Works
The studio works, and smaller installations represent my daily practice, and the maintenance of creative response to the intersections that my work confronts in what I can and cannot control. These statements and gestures develop into extended themes or ideas that inform the larger projects and fuel a momentum that is vital in what I do in the broader scope.
Opportunities to exhibit works allow me explore and experiment with a focussed idea in the context of a controlled audience. Commercial galleries, museums, cultural centers and institutions all uniquely address specific contexts that challenge my routine, while also liberating me from the boundaries that are inherent in the larger and more publicly sited projects.
